I’m 14 And I Have Stretch Marks And Skin Tags. Why?

I’m feeling extremely insecure about my body, because I have stretch marks on both my thighs, near my butt, a skin tag on my arm pit and I have pimples all over my forehead. I’m average, weight wise, because I exercise a lot and play many sports. I eat well, and try to drink enough water, so I think I’m healthy. But stretch marks are always associated with quick weight gain/obesity and pregnancy. My weight’s been pretty constant so that’s confusing. Even some of my heavier friends don’t have stretch marks. As superficial as it sounds, I don’t think it’s fair that even when I exercise a lot and eat much better than others, I still have stretch marks and skin tags.
Anyway, I just wanted to know what causes skin tags and stretch marks. And if there is something I’m doing wrong or how I can get rid of them. Lastly, is this normal for a teenage girl?

It’s very normal. You probably got stretch marks from growing so quickly.
My weight is 25th percentile for my height and age and I have stretch marks on my thighs too. I’m pretty sure every woman’s got em. And I still get pimples even though I’m 19 now. ):

Girl every women out there got some form of stretch marks. It just comes and you don’t even have to be out of shape. It is completely normal and they will only get worse if you gain weight or get prego. At that age I believe every girl feels insecure about themselves it just happens. Don’t feel bad just live life to the fullest and remember to stay positive. Besides i bet other girls who say they don’t have them is just lying however there are those really really uncommon cases where girls don’t have them but like almost 95 percent do.Don’t get mad, get glad and be proud of who you are. Good Luck!

Stretch marks happen :( it’s just part of life. I remember being your age, waking up one morning and thought i was going to just hide in my bedroom forever because they were soo purple and gross. The fairer skin you have, the more they show by the way, and I’m pretty pale, so is it possible that your “heavier friends that don’t have them” are darker skinned than you? If so that’s probably why. I also have a skintag on my armpit by the way, weird haha. Anyway, even if you’ve been a constant weight you are still in the process of becoming a “woman” as in the hips will widen whether you notice it or not, boobs grow (might get them there too) and either way, just try not to freak out about them too much. I’m 21, and my stretch marks are hardly visible at all, they fade from the purple ugliness to white/fleshy colored after a few years. Don’t worry! if you want to try to reduce the appearance of the stretchmarks, the ONLY product you need to use is Bio-oil. It helps reduce scars and stretchmarks, and you can get it at any health/beauty store, drug stores, I got some at my pharmacy! I only paid like 14 bucks. Well worth it. Look it up! Hope this helps.
    EDIT
As for the skintags, there are products out there now that you can use to “freeze” the skin tag, numb the area and remove it yourself! Or ask your friend or mom or sister to do it if you don’t feel comfortable.
